After posting a picture of himself kissing his granddaughter on social media, Chishimba Kambwili, a member of parliament (MP) for the Roan Constituency in the Luanshya District of Zambia, has received feedback and comments in response to the image.
In the photograph, Kambwili can be seen holding his granddaughter on his lap while also giving the young girl, who was only wearing her undergarments, a French kiss.
Zambians mostly disapproved of the photograph and used the word “shameful” to characterize it.
After observing that the photograph was met with disapproval, Kambwili stepped forward to defend himself, stating that the young girl in the photograph is his granddaughter. His granddaughter is the child of one of his biological children.
“I see people catching feelings over this picture. Please don’t interfere. This is Stella, my real granddaughter. The daughter of my biological child. Thank you,” he said.
People continued to tell him that, his acts were not justified.
