Brother Sammy, a popular Ghanaian gospel singer, has advised unmarried people not to rush into marriage.
In a recent interview, the composer of “Aduro Biaa Nkadem” referred to marriage as a cage.
He asserted that marriage is responsible for the deaths of some individuals.
“Marriage is cool, but the advice I’ll give everybody is, don’t rush into marriage.” Marriage is a cage. “Don’t rush into marriage, because some people have married and they’re dying,” Brother Sammy stated.
He stated that it was more important to start a family than to find a spouse.
The well-known Gospel singers placed a greater emphasis on the love for children than on their spouses.
“Marriage has killed many people. As for me, I love children more than marriage. Giving birth is better than getting married.
“Because if you fall ill today, your child will be by your side. But your spouse can neglect you in times of illness and go for another partner,” Brother Sammy averred.
