Gob3 is not my favorite but the economy has forced me to eat Gob3 every day – Fameye

Ghanaian artist Fameye has lamented that the economic crisis in Ghana has forced him to alter his eating habits.

Many Ghanaians have voiced complaints about the current hardships in their country as a result of the inflation rate’s above 40%. Many people have turned to foods that will keep them full all day.

The rapper admitted during a Luv FM interview that he disliked the popular local treat known as “Gob3,” but was forced to start eating it because of the economic crisis.

Fameye said, “now the prices of rice and even ‘gob3’ are ever-increasing which is why I added all of these in my song to tell my people to believe in God that he has done it already and it shall be well although things are hard in the country“.

It appears that other people have also joined the Gob3 eating association in addition to Fameye. Remember how former president John Mahama praised the regional food delivery service Gob3 a month ago for being a “life saver”?

At a symposium to discuss the difficulties facing the Ghanaian economy, John Mahama remarked, “Let us deliberately eat more of our local cuisine like yam, local grains like maize, rice, and our local rice, cassava, beans, and gob3.”
